Maraština is a local grape variety from the Malvasia grape family, which is particularly common in Dalmatia. In other regions, it can be found under the name Rukatac. After processing, the wine matures for ten months in a combination of concrete eggs and used barrique barrels, and then a further eight months in stainless steel.
Goes well with risotto, fish and chicken.
